A DOCTOR specialising in medical advice for
travellers has struck a lease in the Vision Centre
building at Southport. Doctor Norman Hohl has relocated
his Travel Doctor business from its longtime home in the
Meteora building at the foot of Southport Mall to the new
building in the heart of the Gold Coast's medical
precinct. He is leasing a 199 square metre tenancy on the
building's second floor. The lease is for 12 years and has
been negotiated by Judy Smith, of PRDnationwide Surfers
Paradise. The leasing rate is not disclosed but asking
rentals in the building are about $350 a square metre,
gross. The Travel Doctor business is part of an
international chain of medical practices specialising in
medical advice for travellers. Judy Smith says the lease
leaves only 70 square metres of vacant space in the Vision
Centre.
