Nobody would ever no the wonderful deeds done by many of our locals who are happy to serve in silence.

However, one of our moles has told that philanthropic eye surgeon Dr Roger Welch who, after many years of financially supporting the aboriginal community in the Moree area with his eye service, has now received funding from the Royal Australian Flying Doctor Service to help support himself and partner Dr Andre Theron at Vision Centre Gold Coast in this care.

The good doctors were always going to continue their good work but now will be able to make far more visits.

They would never tell of this wonderful work but we thought you should know.
